
Since the fourth grade, Tyler Burns has always harbored a dream of becoming a civil engineer. He credits the Donaghey Scholars Honors Program for providing him with the opportunity to pursue this dream without the financial burden of college or the numerous challenges that accompany it. Additionally, Tyler says this program enabled him to become deeply involved on campus through various extracurricular activities, including the American Society of Civil Engineers. Through his involvement, he contributed to the university’s success on a national scale. His advice to future Donaghey Scholars is to fully embrace their time in the program and pursue their dreams with unwavering determination!
