Samantha has a deep commitment to the integrity of the judicial process and bring a collaborative spirit and passion for work well done. She brings an extensive knowledge of bankruptcy law to serve business and individual clients in all stages of restructuring proceedings.
After earning a J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law (cum laude), Samantha became licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, and is pending licensure in Utah. Her professional path has included service as a Judicial Law Clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah, as well as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Earlier roles as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Trustee Program (Bankruptcy Division, U.S. Department of Justice) and as an Attorney Editor for Westlaw provided foundational experience in litigation, legal research, analysis, and writing.
Leadership and mentorship are also central to her professional approach, as reflected in ongoing roles with the American Bar Association Judicial Internship Opportunity Program and the Utah Center for Legal Inclusion.
Outside the office, Samantha's balance comes through kayaking during the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. She shares her home with her wife and their three cats, where quiet moments are just as meaningful as the challenges and rewards of legal practice.
