How a psychology major fits the honors program
Donaghey Scholars take two honors core courses a semester alongside their major. The honors core's seminars on ideas, writing and argument fit naturally with psychology.
- Study abroad. Every scholar goes abroad, usually the summer after sophomore or junior year. Psychology students can study how culture shapes behavior firsthand.
- Senior thesis. Every scholar completes a thesis. A psychology major might design and run a study with a faculty mentor, valuable experience for graduate school applications.
- A cohort. You'll join about 25 new scholars from every major each year.
